Vinyl
Vinyl is a very versatile choice for floor covering.
While it is most often used in kitchens, bathrooms and
laundry areas, vinyl has come a long way in pattern
selection and design in recent years.
New technology has put the spotlight on authentic texture,
lower gloss levels and down-to-earth designs. Harrisons
also carries a "luxury vinyl tile" product line.
Because of its construction, luxury vinyl has a lot
more design flexibility in regards to embossing and
pattern definition. This results in true-to-life wood
grain planks as well as marble, sandstone, ceramic,
terracotta and slate patterns. It is the most versatile
and realistic "imitation" flooring available in the
marketplace.
Luxury vinyl is more durable than sheet goods because
it has a harder wear surface and is less likely to get
scratches, nicks and gouges. In addition, there are
custom feature and border strips which allow you to
create a custom floor for a lot less than you might
expect.
